Katherine Bell

I joined Bourgeon Capital in October 2026, drawn by the chance to work directly with individuals and families and help them reach their financial goals. Prior to joining the firm, I spent nearly nine years at Morgan Stanley. I began on the Equity Sales team within Wealth Management, where I advised Financial Advisors on equity positioning, developed actionable trade ideas and sector updates, and analyzed client portfolios to deliver tailored equity recommendations. I then spent over 5 years in Equity Research covering the Freight Transportation and Airlines sectors. In this role, I maintained and developed financial models for eight Airlines and more than 30 freight companies, authored research reports for initiations, earnings, and industry events, and cultivated relationships with investor relations personnel and C-suite executives.

 

I graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, and Organizations. Outside of the office, my two young daughters keep me busy and bring plenty of joy and laughter to my days. I also enjoy getting outdoors for walks with my two dogs and spending time with my family.
